The Jolly men

Created by patricia & Brian one month ago

We were first introduced to Colin as one of the men, known as the Jolly men, in Kefalonia. (The other being Colin's brother, who we have never met).  So we have known Colin for just under 40 years,  but  unfortunately didn't see Colin for twenty of those years.  We kept in touch, specially through Colin's Christmas newsletters, which we looked forward to as they were always amusing. To us, Colin was a cheerful, funny, thoughtful and kind friend. An example of his humour was his birthday present to my husband Brian on Brian's 50th birthday. It was a grabber, the sort you see in the elderly  'care' catalogues.  We roared with laughter! 35 yeard later, it's still going strong, and one of the most useful presents my 85 year old husband has received. We now remember Colin everytime we use it.

Colin's laughter and humour will be so missed.
